PERSONALITY
Lightningheart is a gentle she-cat that wears her heart on her sleeve. She is very open and kind, approaching cats around her with a bright smile on her maw. Sometimes she can seem a bit like an overgrown kit, being pretty playful for her age.
Some would call Lightningheart soft-hearted, because she seems so sensitive. She gives all of her heart so freely, and ends up being so easily hurt. She still has a lot of love to give for all the world around her, though, and every cat she meets.

HISTORY
Lightningheart is a reincarnation of Lightningtail, but she is completely oblivious to it.
Lightningkit was born alongside Rumblekit and Rushkit to Brokenfoot and Shadedtree. Lightningkit was always one to joke around, teasing her littermates constantly.
As an apprentice, Lightningpaw trained alongside her mentor, Applesky. She learned a lot of things from her mentor, as apprentices do, but no cat could ever deny how much Lightningpaw loved hunting. And she was really good at it, too. She also fell in love with the fact that she got to really branch out on her own, something she always taunted Rumblepaw for not doing. It was as though Lightningpaw was hardly even in camp, most days. If any cat wanted to find her, all they had to do was look up, and the could spot her gray pelt enjoying the view from the branches above. She always did love looking out from the trees above.
It was during her apprenticeship that she met Solarpaw, and she jumped in with her heart first. Even her father, although not immediately, grew to view Solarpaw as family. The two of them became inseparable, and as they grew to be warriors named Solarclaw and Lightningheart, they also made their relationship official.
The world seemed to turn upside down when her parents split up. Lightningheart couldn't bring herself to accept a world where her mother and father weren't mates. She gave her heart into everything, why couldn't they at least give their hearts to each other like they were supposed to? She had thought they were in love! She couldn't bring herself to look either of them in the eye after that, let alone talk with them. And so she distanced herself.
So much had happened after that. First she lost her big brother, Rumblecore, to sickness. They had never gotten along as well as they could have, he had never appreciated her teasing, and to lose him on such bad terms, she hated it. And then Rushweed denounced his family and the Clans. Another family member gone, and he might not have even known how much she loved him. That was always what hurt the most. Knowing that her brothers were gone, and they may never know how much they were loved. And she did love them so much.
She wasn't willing to let that happen again. That was the moment she really started to truly show just how much she loved the cats in her life. Starting with her parents. Even if she couldn't understand why they didn't love each other, she knew she loved both of them. She even got to know her little sister, Silverpaw, and got to watch as she earned the name of Silvershade.
When the fire rampaged through the forest, Lightningheart found herself separated from everyone. She didn't know if her family or her mate was alive. She could only hope to see them again, but stars was she afraid.
