Plum [Complete]

Plum is a very pacifistic cat, not big on fighting at all. She tries to avoid trouble when she can, and is often seen as very soft-spoken. Despite her striking appearance, Plum would much rather slink into the background and avoid attention. She has a tendency to get really fidgety when she is nervous, which she often is. She also has a very bad habit of trying to do what would make other cats happy, and sometimes expending too much energy on what others want.

Plum was born to two loners who had been forced to become Fearclanners during their rise to power within the forest. Her parents only joined because they had been told that if they did not join, they would die, despite the fact that her mother was pregnant with her first litter. Plum is the sole surviving kit of her mother's last and fifth litter out of three. Her parents chose to join to save themselves and their future family. Her mother was tasked with watching over the kits born into Fearclan while her father was tasked with joining the patrols to kill off clan cats. Her father proved his worth to Fearclan as he actively participated by planning attacks and following through with them, doing this to keep the heat off of his mate and kits. This tactic worked successfully, as Plum's mother and older siblings were often spared from Fearclan's wrath if her father came back as the victor from Fearclan's attacks. When Fearclan warred against the clans, her father was apart of the battle, but managed to run off without the notice of Fearclan's leadership, and quickly gathered the family and hid in a far off corner of the forest. It took a long time for her parents to heal and forgive one another for their own separate evils they committed to keep their kits safe, as her mother was not without blame for killing kits under the pressure of Fearclan's leadership to kill unloyal cat's kits or have her own be killed, though she did so as quickly and painlessly as she could. They hoped to leave the heinous crimes against others by keeping to themselves and doing their best to live lives of of peace and kindness when they were able to escape. Their last litter was purposeful, her parents desire to have at least one litter that was not born into Fearclan and could live in a world where what happened was only a horrible story rather than a miserable reality. They named her for the pretty fruit they often found growing in their new, solitary home. Many of her siblings split apart as time passed, and when Plum turned eight moons, her mother passed away, and two moons later, her father died of a broken heart, leaving Plum an orphan. She decided to travel to the places that her parents spoke about in their stories, praying to Starclan for their forgiveness when she visited the graves of the lives that had been lost, and to lead her to the future her parents always wanted for her- a wish that Starclan did grant by guiding her to a new forest where she would eventually find common connections to her past.
