"Two-leg, enough of your nonsense! Release me into the garden at once!" A plump, well-pampered calico molly pawed at the inside of her two-leg's nest impatiently, her burning amber eyes narrowed as she watched her molly two-leg coo and walk over to the wooden wall. If Mango was a different, lesser breed of cat, she'd lash her tail to announce her displeasure to the molly two-leg. With a click!, the round portal to the garden was moveable once more. Mango stuck her nose in the air and trilled at the two-leg, voicing her approval, and began to step towards the portal.
With a moww!, Mango felt herself be lifted into the air by her two-leg, and placed onto a table. The two-leg's paws held firmly, but gently, onto Mango's body as it reached for a item off to the side. Ah, of course...I need my shiny collar, she sat still as the two-leg slipped on the sparkling collar made of stone, and clipped a moon-shaped stone onto the back of the collar. The two-leg then set her down onto the wooden floor, and Mango immediately slipped through the portal.
As Mango squeezed herself through the garden portal, she felt the warmth of the sun's rays bathing her calico fur. It was a familiar feeling, but one that never failed to fill her with contentment.
As Mango stepped onto the sun-warmed stone path, she moved with calm purpose through the lush garden, her senses alive with the sights and sounds of the natural world around her. The air was thick with the buzz of bees and other insects, each one entranced by the vibrant hues of the flowers that surrounded her. Mango took a deep breath, drawing in the fragrant aroma of the blooms, and let out a contented sigh.
The two-leg has yet to prepare the garden for fall, she thought to herself, her feline mind noting the signs of the changing seasons. As she made her way toward the tranquil pond, Mango's eyes widened in delight at the sight of the spotted fish still swimming gracefully in the cool, clear water. She settled herself at the pond's edge, mesmerized by the sight of the fish gliding effortlessly beneath the surface, their scales flashing in the dappled light. For a moment, Mango was lost in the simple beauty of the moment, her thoughts and cares drifting away like the ripples on the pond's surface.
